SOD TURNING CEREMONY FOR HOEDSPRUIT MALL

The new Maruleng Mall will be an asset to the community of Hoedspruit.

This is according to the mayor of the Maruleng Municipality, Tsheko Musolwa. He was speaking at a sod-turning ceremony for the proposed Maruleng Mall held on Friday, March 3. Musolwa, the municipal manager Nanki Hoaeane, and Mazvita Maradzika of Selective Empowerment Investment 1 (SEI 1), a listed investment fund, attended the ceremony. “The new 9000m² Maruleng Mall is anchored by the Checkers Group, the Foschini Group, Mr. Price Group, and the Clicks Group, with fashion and clothing retail adding to the experience,” said Robert Hare of Bruce Kirchmann Construction and Hebrides Investments.

LIMPOPO ROADSHOW FOR MONDAY 20 MARCH 2023 CANCELLED

Due to the EFF planned national shutdown for the 20^th of March 2023, SEI1 has taken a decision to cancel the scheduled AGM roadshow in Polokwane, Limpopo on the same date as the team is working with multiple uncertain variables at this stage. This decision ensures the safety of the SEI1 team and Shareholders. We apologise for this inconvenience. SEI1, through Singular Systems continues to run an outbound call campaign for shareholders to ensure that they can still vote prior to the AGM. SEI 1 Limited Virtual AGM Notice – 24 March 2023

The notice for Selective Empowerment Investments 1 Limited (SEI 1) 10^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been issued and is now available on our website www.seinvest/shareholder. Notices have also been shared on various platforms including the OTC Express Platform.

The AGM will be held virtually on Friday, 24th of March 2023 at 10am. Please refer to the 2021/2022 Annual Report (Pages 104 – 115) for the AGM notice and special instructions on how to cast your proxy vote and receive your unique link to join the virtual AGM.

The notice of the AGM must be read together with the 2021/2022 Annual Report, where references to resolutions are included.

The SEI1 team will also be conducting Roadshows between the 27^th of February 2023 and 22 March 2023 prior to the virtual AGM to engage shareholders on the Annual Report and upcoming virtual AGM.
